Writing has been a love affair of mine for as long as I can remember. From notebooks filled with half-finished stories to blogs that came and went, and even a few wonderfully questionable fanfiction adventures, writing has always been where I feel most at home.
These days, I’ve stopped chasing what I think I should write and started embracing what I genuinely enjoy. Dreadfully Kelly is a space for beauty, books, and all the chaos in between. A place to share thoughts, reviews, recommendations, and the occasional ramble with people who love those things just as much as I do.
My beauty obsession began with a very exciting purchase of the Urban Decay Vegan Palette, and from that moment I was completely hooked. Since then, beauty has become more than just makeup. It’s creativity, confidence, self-expression, and, occasionally, an excellent excuse to buy another lipstick.
Alongside beauty, I’ve always been happiest with my nose in a book or sitting in a theatre waiting for the curtain to rise. Whether I’m getting lost in a great story on the page or swept up in the magic of a live performance, I’ve always been drawn to the worlds that storytelling creates.
